To Sharon Wilson, owner of the Wash Bright Car Wash - 5024 Midland.  She was kind enough to invite us to take donations for parking at her business during the Delta Township Fireworks display.  We hope our Band Families can help repay some of her kindness by patronizing the car wash.  Not sure where it is?  The Wash Bright is located off Elmwood Rd, behind Vinaigrettes Restaurant.  Special thanks also to Claudia and Hannah Martin, Anne and Maggie Slocum, and Carolynn and Alan Wright for working this fun event.  We hope this becomes a yearly tradition for the Boosters.

Band Camp - Forms and Deposit

If you have already sent in your form and deposit, thank you!  If not, please send them in ASAP.   Parents, Grandparents.. we need you too!  Band Camp cannot run without parent volunteers.  We need overnight and daytime only volunteers to help with filling water cups, supervising free time activities, helping with evening activities, and generally helping to keep the kids safe and sound.  Student account balances on the web are updated as of 6/9/2008 and do not reflect any transfers for payment for Band Camp 2008.  Need your account number?  Send an e-mail to studentaccounts (at waverlyband.org) with your students first and last name and grade.

We have many open positions, and the more help we have, the better we can make the Band Program for your student.  In particular, we need a volunteer coordinator, uniform co-chair, banquet co-chairs, and apple pie day co-chair.

The Marching Band Pillows Have Arrived!

We are still taking orders for these online and at all High School Band Concerts.  Supplies are limited - it takes a full uniform jacket (and 1/2 a pair of pants) to make each pillow.  Click here for an order form.  We are sending out a batch that we will have ready for immediate sale and delivery in the fall.  You can still pre-order if you want to be guaranteed a pillow.
