Larzelere Notes
Time flies when you’re having fun! Another school year is quickly coming to an end and the 2007-2008 school year has been a tremendous success for the WHS Bands. I am extremely proud of our hard working and dedicated students who made these achievements a reality. It is my hope that we have all created great memories and learned valuable lessons that we will hold on to for a lifetime.
I also wish to thank all of the parents who do so much to support their students and the Waverly Bands. This program would be nothing without your support, time, money, sweat, etc…Please take the time to share with your children how proud you are of them and their efforts.
As we begin the final marking period, the Waverly Bands are preparing not only for a busy spring but also for next year’s marching band season. Please read through the following events and mark your calendars accordingly.
2008-2009 Warrior Marching Band
Plans are underway for the 2008-2009 Marching Band season. Please look for a separate mailing with further details. Band camp is scheduled for July 27-August 2 at Camp Kimball and costs $200. There will also be several other rehearsals throughout the summer. The complete schedule will be included in the “Marching Band Mailing” coming in June.
